The order in which we apply skincare products is of real importance! Today, we will explain how to optimize your skincare routine. 


STEP 1: CLEANSER

With our Ultra-Gentle Facial Cleanser, you can remove all the impurities that have accumulated on your skin during the day or night: sebum, dust, pollution, dead skin cells...

Your skin is now clean and ready to receive the subsequent skincare products.


STEP 2: SERUM

Serum is always the first product to apply! If you use multiple serums, there is a simple rule to determine the order: start with the thinnest and most lightweight textures, and finish with the thickest and oilier ones.

For example, you would use the Hyper-Hyaluronic Anti-Wrinkle Serum before the Natural Radiance Face Serum because the former has a more liquid consistency.

This application order optimizes the penetration of all skincare products into the skin. If a thicker product is applied first, it may create a barrier that hinders the absorption of subsequent lighter products. 

STEP 3: TARGETED TREATMENTS

After applying your serums, it's time to apply targeted treatments such as eye contour products.

The eye contour area is crucial to care for, regardless of age, as the skin is extremely delicate and prone to premature aging.

Apply the eye contour product before your facial moisturizer to create a barrier effect. Even if you carefully avoid the eye area, facial creams tend to migrate towards the eyes through capillary action. This excess hydration in the sensitive eye area can cause puffiness and discomfort, potentially affecting the effectiveness of the eye contour treatment.

By applying the eye contour product first, it acts as a barrier to the facial cream, allowing the anti-wrinkle, anti-dark circles, and anti-puffiness actions to work more effectively.

This is also the time to apply any specific treatments for acne, rosacea, eczema, etc.

STEP 4: MOISTURIZER

Next, apply a moisturizer suitable for your skin type and concerns: oily skin (Ultra-Fresh Moisturizing Gel), dry and/or shaved skin (Ultra-Moisturizing 6-in-1 Face Fluid), mature skin (Face Regenerating Complete Anti-Aging)...
